KIM LEADS BY EXAMPLE
Kimberly Xavier began reporting in 1994 with very little information about the court reporting industry and having met only one other court reporter in her life, which was during a required internship. But she recognized early on that this career path had great potential for personal and professional growth.  Court reporting is the only career she has had since leaving the U.S. Air Force in 1993. Through her volunteer service and leadership roles, she has made it a priority throughout her career to take every opportunity to motivate, educate, and inspire her colleagues as well as future court reporters. Serving and performing in excellence has always been her personal goal.
EMBRACING OUR DIVERSITY
We are all different but steno unites us. Maintaining diversity within the court reporting community and TCRA's membership will play a major part in our growth in the coming years. Being intentional in our recruitment of members from every lane of reporting as well as every social background is how we will keep our finger on the pulse of the needs of the reporting community. It's how we guarantee future growth.
SIMPLICITY
Kim believes that simplicity is key! Something as simple as an elevator selfie can bring reporters together and begin building relationships.
PARTICIPATION IS IMPORTANT!
Kim makes it a habit to get CEs with TCRA first. All other vendors and events must get in line.  By supporting and taking advantage of the many educational opportunities provided by TCRA, each of us is able to contribute to the financial stability of a great organization. This ensures we will be able to continue advocating for our profession and serving our members.

Kimberly Xavier humbly REQUESTS YOUR VOTE! As a busy court reporter and leader in the industry, Kim believes in earning her stripes, setting the bar high, and serving with a grateful heart. She takes nothing for granted, and that includes your vote. Kim has consistently volunteered her time and talents to TCRA as well as local associations throughout Texas. When asked why she chose to be a TCRA member and volunteer for all these years, the answer is simple. As a versatile reporter, capable of performing in different arenas, TCRA is a logical choice because it is an established professional organization that advocates for ALL reporters.
